The G Fest is the signature event of the Geordan Harris Memorial Fund (GHMF).
The Geordan Harris Memorial Fund was created to honor Geordan Glasgow Harris, who gained his "eagles wings" too early after a fatal crash in July 2013. Geordan was a 2003 graduate of Gonzaga College High School, a brotherhood that continues to run much deeper than just a diploma.
Geordan embodied his alma mater's motto of "men for others" as shown through his passion for his work, his family and friends, and his philanthropy. To honor his spirit and passion, his family, friends and colleagues, through the GHMF, established a scholarship that allows Geordan's legacy and connection to Gonzaga to continue through others. The scholarship will provide not only tuition to Gonzaga College High School for a student in need of financial assistance, but also a paid summer internship. The deserving candidate will exhibit a commitment to achieve and a charismatic personality as Geordan did, and will receive an education which might not otherwise be possible.
